Cesar Barone (Cesar Francesco Barone) (born Adolph James Rode) an American serial killer who assaulted, raped and murdered four women in the Portland area between 1991 and 1993. In 1990, Barone was kicked out of the army after he exposed himself to a female officer, his superiors also learned that he had changed his identity and had spent several years in prison prior to joining the army. Barone was arrested in 1993 and sentenced to death in 1995. He met serial killer Ted Bundy while they were both inmates at Florida State Prison. In 2009, Cesar Barone died of natural causes at the Oregon State Penitentiary in Salem, Oregon.

Cesar Barone was born on December 4th 1960 in Fort Lauderdale, county seat of Broward County, Florida, United States. He was born 3rd of 3 children and raised by both parents until Cesar (Age 4), his father and his fathers girlfriend until Cesar (Age 12), his father until Cesar (Age 17), juvenile detention home until adulthood. He was raised as a youngest child and had two, an older brother and an older sister. His father, Adolph Rode who worked as a carpenter. His mother, an unnamed woman who left the family, Cesar (Age 4), His stepmother, Stella Hall who Cesar tried to strangle during a break-in, Cesar (Age 17/19). During his education he had academic, social or discipline problems.
He completed 12 years of school, received a GED. He married Kathi Scarbrough in 1988, Cesar (Age 27), divorced. He had one son with his wife Kathi Scarbrough, Cesar (Age 30).
Prior to his spree he had commited crimes, served time in jail, and served time in prison. He was known to abuse alcohol and drugs.
In 1991 (Age 30/31) Cesar Barone started his killing spree, during his crimes as a serial killer he was known to rob, strangle, rape, and murder his victims. Cesar Barone used a weapon and was in possession of a firearm during his crimes. He was known to kill at the home of the victim. At the time of his crimes he was living with his ex-wife whom he met in prison, where he was known to work as a military personnel.
He was arrested on February 27th 1993 (Age 32), convicted on December 6th 1995 (Age 35), sentenced to death at Oregon State Penitentiary in Salem, Oregon, US.
