William Bonin an American serial killer who was known as the Freeway Killer. Bonin and three accomplices are known to have murdered a minimum of 21 youths aged between 12 and 19 in and around Los Angeles. As the majority of his victims were discarded alongside various southern California freeways. Randy Steven Kraft and Patrick Wayne Kearney also share the nickname the Freeway Killer. Bonin was convicted of 14 of the freeway murders and was executed in 1996.
